I’m looking for my first barefoot shoes and I was wondering if you could help:
First of all I need running shoes, but also sandals and sneakers.
My foot length is 25.8 cm, and width is 9.8 cm. I have bunions (hallux valgus) and that’s why my feet are wide. I’m not sure how to check what my volume is.
I thought about buying the Vivobarefoot primus trail FG (many people recommended it, and there’s also a discount!) But a friend said I should get Freetbarefoot or Softstar since my feet are wide. What do you think, which brand should I start with?
I’m also thinking about getting Splay sneakers, Unshoes Saffron and Earth Runners sandals (after reading your reviews about them), and it would be great to know what you think and if these are good choices for my feet and as my first barefoot shoes.

I would agree that Freet might be a better one to start with. I’m not sure I would characterize that length and width as extra wide though, just regular wide. But considering the bunion (does your width include that) then you might want to look Softstar Primals.

Hi Julia! I tested it and found it to be working, I wonder if you tried it on clearance shoes? Or maybe one of the Vivo franchise sites? It works on all full price items on all Vivo owned websites. But some (like the Germany shop) are actually independently owned franchises and my code doesn’t work there.

Unfortunately, the Vivobarefoot Germany site is a franchise and is not operated by Vivobarefoot. So currently my code doesn’t work there. But starting in January it will be back under the main Vivobarefoot umbrella and my code will work.
VBANYA10 Isn’t working for Vivobarefoot currently.
I just tested it, it’s still valid! But coupons don’t work on top of sales, so that might be why.
