Keeping your kids’ feet healthy from the beginning is much easier than trying to correct a problem later, and most kids have no problem at all in barefoot shoes. In fact, many move more confidently and fall less in barefoot shoes than “regular” thick, heeled shoes! It’s also normal for young children to have flat feet, and shouldn’t be a cause for concern unless they are having pain or dysfunction.
