There aren’t a lot of options, but here are a handful of foot-shaped socks for kids!
- Aira Basics – This brand carries anatomically friendly socks that don’t restrict the toes, and they come in a youth size. We’ve had good luck with these – they are durable for my rough-and-tumble son and don’t squish.
- Amazon Toe Socks – This is one of the only places I’ve found toe socks for kids. I have one son who will only wear toe socks, and another that absolutely refuses to! They’re definitely not for everyone.
- Plus12 Anatomical Socks – These foot-shaped socks have lots of room for the big toe, and are a good alternative to toe socks. They also have wool options, which is good for the winter, and knee high length for school uniforms.
- Magical Shoes – 99% Merino wool socks with a wide toe box and non-skid bottom. Use code ANYA for 10% off

We love plus12 too! Discovered them at the Vivobarefoot flagship store in Vienna when we were visiting Austria last year. 🙂
Any update to this page? The Plus 12 and Magical Shoes links don’t work anymore. Toe socks are not an option for my kiddo.
Just updated! Both Plus 12 and Magical Shoes kids socks are still around, but they must have changed the links. The only new one that I added is Aira Basics. They just launched recently and my son has been wearing them the last few months. They’re really good!
I’ve found some socks with more relaxed toe boxes at Old Navy and I just size up. It’s an affordable option that works for my kiddos who have more narrow feet.
Those tube socks are an amazing idea!
I’d wish something like this would be available in Europe, though they don’t even ship abroad :/
