Yes! Heavy, heeled, clunky rain boots can be a thing of the past with these foot-friendly options. The following options are all barefoot-friendly rubber boots for kids, but keep in mind that some have a slightly tapered toe box. Bundgaard and Ten Little have the most foot shaped kids rubber rain boots right now.
- Bisgaard – All zero drop except “Rain” model.
- Bundgaard rubber boots – All these wellies are zero drop except the Sailor boots. Customers outside the US can order directly from Bundgaard.
- Oaki Rain Boots – Rubber boots are zero drop, neoprene boots are not.
- Original Hunter Classic
- Koel
- KomForme
- Ten Little – Toddler/little kid sizes US 6-13. Read the review here
- Viking – Not all models are zero-drop. Viking ships to the EU only, but this brand can also be found at Outnorth for international shipping.

The boots in the picture are exactly what I am looking for.
Where are they from?
Those are the rainboots from Ten Little!
Are any of the Bogs toddler boots or shoes barefoot/zero drop? I’m shopping for my new walker and was specifically looking at the baby kicker mid and the baby kicker hook and loop. Thank you!!
From what I can tell the Bogs toddler boots are nearly zero drop, but I haven’t checked the insole inside. I have never owned any but a lot of my friends’ kids have worn them and I always thought they looked pretty good.
I noticed that for both my child and I, all the rain boots that are wide are still not wide enough. THe Xero aggravated my bunion so much that i paid for Foot consultations to figure out how to relieve the pain. My 3 year old was wearing ten little’s and they started to deform his little wide feet. We bought Koel for his next round but i’m still unsure they are wide enough.
Rain boots are tough. We found the Bundgaard little kid rain boots to be the widest. I also think it’s very important to ensure they fit well and don’t flop around – that can aggravate bunions. It goes a long way to have your shoes secure on your foot, so you might need to try stirrup socks or some of these fit hacks.
I love your lists. I would love to see Reima’s and Stonz rain boots reviewed for this list. I’d also love to see a separate list of shoes that have been reviewed and are not zero drop.
